Class Overview

Kidsaver child focussed CPR and First Aid Classes are now being offered by the Sydney Adventist Hospital for families on Sydney's North Shore and surrounding areas.

Kidsaver First Aid CPR classes are designed for parents, expecting parents, grandparents, in fact anyone involved in the care of young babies or children (birth - 8 years), You do not have to be attending the San to take advantage of this class. Everyone is welcome. The classes are baby and breast feeding friendly, so you can absolutely bring your bub.

If you are a pre or post natal mum attending San Maternity, then you should definitely take advantage of this San recommended class.

Kidsaver is the only paediatric first aid provider where classes are exclusively delivered by Registered Nurses who are specialists in paediatrics. All our trainers are highly experienced and qualified with Masters level and Nationally recognised training qualifications as well as over 10 years experience training paediatric CPR and first aid.

You will learn how to perform life saving CPR & first aid skills for the most common child related emergencies such as choking, drowning, burns, temperatures, febrile convulsions, seizures, falls, head injuries, broken bones, poisoning, bites & stings, dehydration, allergies & anaphylaxis and more.


The class is presented as a ‘hands on’ practical workshop where you will have ample opportunity to practice CPR & first aid skills on state of the art manikins. Our trainers are currently practicing paediatric nurses, so all of your questions will be answered. You will leave this class with the confidence to act quickly and calmly in a variety of child emergency situations, as a result you could save the life of your baby or child.
