Class Overview

This is a Kidsaver baby and child focused First Aid & CPR class, hosted by Nepean Private Hospital Maternity for families in the Nepean, Kingswood and Penrith areas of Sydney's Western Suburbs.

If you are a pre or post natal mum attending Nepean Private Hospital Maternity, then you should absolutely take advantage of this class. However if not - that's OK because EVERYONE is welcome!

This is a comprehensive baby and child focused CPR & First Aid class., You will learn how to remain calm in an emergency and have the confidence to help your little one when they need you most. The class is designed for parents, expecting parents, grandparents, family members, in fact anyone who is or will be involved in the care of young babies or children (birth - 8 years). 

The class is presented as a ‘hands on’ practical workshop where you will learn how to perform life saving CPR & first aid skills for the most common baby and child related emergencies such as choking, drowning, burns, temperatures, febrile convulsions, seizures, falls, head injuries, broken bones, poisoning, bites & stings, allergies & anaphylaxis and more. You will have ample opportunity to ask questions and practice first aid & CPR skills on state of the art manikins. Kidsaver is the only paediatric first aid provider where classes are exclusively delivered by Registered Nurses who are qualified trainers and specialists in paediatrics. You will leave the class with the confidence to act quickly and calmly in a variety of child emergency situations, as a result you could save the life of your baby or child.
